UADS success at Diefenbaker Cup

This past weekend the UADS sent 4 and a half teams to compete at the University of Saskatchewan’s annual Diefenbaker Cup. A huge congratulation goes out to Sharon Ohayon and James Crossman who won the Diefenbaker Cup after going 5-0 in regular rounds. They defeated a prominent team from the University of Saskatchewan in a final round case about sending AIDS drugs to the third world. Sharon was also the 3rd place speaker in the tournament.

As well, Maria Chen advanced to the public speech final, in her first external University tournament no less, where she did extremely well.

All the other teams involved competed extremely well and represented the UADS with class. Great job everyone!
